arey 625 repeater
I decided to install a rick controller (Motorola HLN3333B Repeater controller)
and find the pins for use with
Motorola mcs2000 radios (since rick controller works only with m100 or so,) I have to figure the pin out (no info out there) so I have a working good repeater now, with the help of a oscilloscope.
well I used a radio on the input of the controller to check the pins for audio level, (finding the output on the other connector).
the tail too, and figure out the circuit (kind of),
remember Motorola rick controller doesn't have ptt id.(that's and extra stuff I add).
Motorola mcs2000 radio to radio connection diagram.
(that's why I use Motorola rick).
and it was cheaper too,
remember this mcs2000 radios are 24 and 48 watts and require a
14 amps on hi and 8 amp on low 13.8v
final pin out
this is what I end up, it works good.
in the bottom is the internal dip switches final order
for a 3 sec tail..
NOTE: open images on new tab to see it bigger size,🙂
this is what I end up, it works good.
there's more to add, but for now is good....
future topics:
programing radio and software setup,
fixing blow final transistor.
adding remote controller to rick Motorola,
ptt id for repeater tx radio (all this page is Motorola mcs2000).
I will put a link for email if you have questions,
